Bratislava Hot Serenaders is a unique orchestra led by trumpeter Juraj Bartoš, which has specialised in hot jazz music from the 1920s and 1930s since 1991. The orchestra is among the world's best in authentic interpretations of jazz music from this period.

Pianist and composer Alan Bartuš is one of the most prominent artists in the world of jazz under the age of 30. As a semi-finalist in the world's most prestigious competition – the Herbie Hancock International Jazz Piano Competition 2023 – he ranks among the top 10 jazz pianists of his generation.

The Lenka Gálisová Quartet jazz ensemble has already won several prestigious awards, including Discovery of the Year and the Award for Convincing Vocal Performance (New Faces of Slovak Jazz 2020). Their debut album "V znamení návrat" (2023) featured sensitive interpretations of jazz standards and compositions by icons such as Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis and Chick Corea.

The Hammond B-3 master will bring groove and timeless energy to our festival. Vintage soul, funk, boogaloo, and the raw power of the Hammond organ! Raphael Wressnig is one of the world's top Hammond B-3 players.

Bugge Wesseltoft is a Norwegian jazz pianist, composer and producer, and the son of the jazz guitarist Erik Wesseltoft. In the early 1990s, he influenced the Norwegian jazz scene by replacing the Nordic jazz traditions represented by the ECM label with a style sometimes referred to as 'future jazz' or 'nu jazz'.

Keyon Harrold is a trumpeter, singer, composer and producer. His first professional gig was the Tiny Desk Concert at the White House - he became trumpeter of the band of Common, on the recommendation of his classmate Robert Glasper. He soon made a name for himself as the musician who recorded all the trumpets for "Miles Ahead," a biopic of Miles Davis that also focused on his playing and compositions. The recording for the film won a GRAMMY Award.

Kurt Elling, today's finest male jazz vocalist, reinterprets Weather Report, with an emphasis on Wayne Shorter's compositions, in this special collaborative project with California legends Yellowjackets. Weather Report were the quintessential modern jazz band of the '70s and '80s - which is why we're thrilled to experience this exclusive project at the 50th edition of the Bratislava Jazz Days Slovenská sporiteľňa.

Concert performance of the solo debut of drummer and composer Ajdži Sabo, who is known not only for his collaboration with Slovak music top, but also for his powerful band Slide & Udu (with Martin Zajko). At our festival he will perform with a stellar band consisting of Ajdži Sabo, Valér Miko, Martin Gašpar, Palo Bereza, and Michal Cálik.

Singer, composer and producer Nina Kohout is one of the most prominent figures on the contemporary domestic music scene. She enchanted us all a year ago, at the Open-air Jazz Days in Rusovce. Nina is releasing her debut album this month, it's time for her to perform on our main stage.

Drahoslav Bango is a pianist, composer and producer. Last year he won the Young Talent Stage organized by our festival. As the winner, he was given the opportunity to open this year's Bratislava Jazz Days at the main stage of Slovenská sporiteľňa. He is currently working on his debut album Drahoslav Bango & Friends, which will feature his own compositions, enriched with elements of classical music, jazz and Latin-American music.
