British pianist, singer and songwriter Reuben James has recorded and performed with megastars such as Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Herbie Hancock, John Legend, Sam Smith and Tom Misch. As a pianist, he has mastered virtuosic jazz techniques; as a singer, he has a sweet, smooth soulful voice. How he will sound on jazzers is strongly suggested by the instrumentation of his trio: grand piano, bass, drums. Reuben James is regarded in the islands as one of the most creative artists on the jazz scene.

Reuben James' career was launched by co-writing songs for Sam Smith's 'The Thrill Of It All' album, and he has also written music for the successful Ted Lasso series with Marcus Mumford. His biggest influences are names like Frank Ocean, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, John Legend, and Robert Glasper.

Over time, Reuben James has also developed his own unique sound and style - and has become one of the most exciting voices in British music. He made his self-titled debut four years ago, and his singles have been high in both the BBC and Jazz FM charts. In that time he has released three albums, and this year's current 'Champagne Kisses' features guest appearances from famous musicians such as Tom Ford, Braxton Cook, and Roy Ayers. His work has racked up over 50 million plays on all platforms.
